Who's ready for a bromantic roadtrip? 😅
When Pim and I heard that our partners at CrowdStrike were hosting the 24 Hours of Spa event, and their CEO George Kurtz was actually driving, we just had to go see it in person!
Now, we could have hopped on a train over to Belgium. But where's the fun in that!? So, we made it a road trip!
I started by driving from Cambridgeshire to Folkestone, where I took the Eurotunnel to Calais. From there, I headed to what we call MEDDICC Towersch (Pim's gaff). Once I got there, Pim had an amazing surprise waiting for me. You'll have to catch the full video to see what it was 🤩.
The next day, we drove to Spa. The experience was absolutely incredible, made even more special thanks to the wonderfully kind hospitality from CrowdStrike Racing —shoutout to Michael Sentonas and Robert Page for that!
This trip wasn't just about fun, though. It was an opportunity to support our partners at CrowdStrike and Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cheer on George and CJ Moses.
Being with our partners in a relaxed setting, away from the usual business discussions, was really valuable. It reminded me how important face-to-face interactions are, especially since the pandemic.
